Color me Rainbow

Hello there!!

A quick post with a sweet card. The same darling couple you saw here  (this one was a finalist in Itsy Bitsy challenge, yay!) and here (as an outline only) make yet another appearance :)





Stamped a white panel with the hearts border in rainbow colours, stamped the couple directly on the panel, and then stamped the couple in another card stock, which I then water coloured.

I hand cut the couple image and mounted it on the panel.. the whole thing was then mounted on the base card stock.

Colurful huh??!? :)

And I need to tell you about this foam tape I discovered recently - I am sure it's been around :)
The 3M Scotch Foam tape is FABULOUS!!! Try it out

    The image is colored so beautifully Jaya and I had to smile reading your comment on my pop up card cos you are tempting me to try coloring and stamping more !!!

When ICR has a Rain theme, I was looking around for some ideas and this is the stamp I landed on and fell in love with. Ujjwal recently sourced this for me. And I am glad I am able to use this in another ICR Challenge – the Challenge #10 . Here is the sketch grabbed from the ICR Challenge Pad I wanted to CASify this sketch – inspired by non other than Simplicity . And this is what I came up with. Isn’t the sentiment super sweet? :) How to: Stamp the image in black – Hero arts black ink. Image used is Ippity’s Rain or Shine Made two masks: one for the legs and also one mask to mimic grass Taped the masks down and stamped the grass repeatedly using Ippity A Bit of Burlap Stamped the sentiment which came with the image. Stamped the image’s umbrella on a piece of felt, cut it out, mounted it and popped a white pearl on it. Felt and pearl from itsybitsy . Scallop Sizzix Album

Now say that title again. One more time..One last time.. Tongue twister isnt it? But there is nothing twisted with these gorgeous Sizzix album dies . They cut through those multiple layers of papers so beautifull and they cut chipboard too. Yout must see the finish to believe. See all those die cut pages nestled between the album cover?? I cut a bunch of DCWV papers (Flower stack) amd fabriano papers with the Sizzix Scallop Rectangle #2 . The center polka dots were stamped (Papertrey) on a frame die cut with Sizzox Decorative Frames. I chose the colours from the papers. Then added the layers of frames topped with this pretty bunch of felt flowers. The nice thing about the Frames is that, you can add layers without adding bulk. The die actually cuts those skinny frames which can be layered within each other - alllowing you to build layers sans bulk. Awesome idea!!
