My Family, so precious – A Scrapbook with Sizzix
I’ve been really wanting to use those precious Sizzix dies.. especially those lovely borders and butterflies and cute alphabets.

Here is the front page. With a ton of those lovely dies. Everything linked at the end.
The text on the stamped house reads “our home”… and the die cut alphabets affirms what we all know.. Our family is a blessing to us.
All the dies are Sizzix as linked here… and stamps are from Papertrey ink
- Cute as Button Alphabet die
- Bigz Die - Flower #2
- Sizzlits Die Set 3PK - Hello Set
- Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die - Filigree Border
- Bigz Die - Doily, Lace Medallion
- Sizzlits Die Set 3PK - Card Phrases Set #2 – for those cute butterflies
- Papers from Dovecraft and DCWV
Anything else – do ask :)
More pictures to follow in the next few days.

For the teachers
It was teachers day on the 5th September in India. Both my girls go to Maple Bear school in Hulimavu. They are so well taken care of and we are so thankful for them.
The stamps are Hero Arts. And the perfect embossing folder from this project is the awesome Sizzix
I am so loving this stamp & emboss style. Adds soo much oomph to the projects, no? :)
And these book marks for the teachers were a hybrid project. This lovely sentiment I picked from the net was printed on Fabriano card stocks.. and the heart and birdie stamps from Papertrey ink stamped onto the bookmark using memento inks
Thanks everyone at Maple Bear :) God bless you
And I have a freebie for you. I know teacher’s day is gone by – but it is never late to tell them how much we appreciate them. This PDF printed on an A4 yields 8 bookmarks. Pick it up here. Feel free to use them – and do link back if you do.
Cheers

So here it is – a cute pup with a bow.. wishing the little boy a Happy Birthday.
Bless you T.
The Happy Birthday die cut is from this neat – super useful – set called Card Phrases #3

All About You – A special scrapbook
A few months back, my friend A from a local crafters group asked me to make scrapbooks for some students she teaches.
That sent me on a tizzy to see how I can help in making one which will truly be useful. It took me a couple of months to get the basics ready, figure out an easy-to-read font, content, and format ready.
And this is a result of that work. This is book is good for all children. There are more than 100 individually stamped images which the child colours herself/himself – to make the scrapbook her/his own.
Each page has been reviewed over and over again for usefulness. And as usual, I’ve used Fabriano Elle Erre card stock – so the child can write, scribble, colour directly on the paper.
These books truly have a piece of me in them. I hope whoever uses them will be enriched.
I’ve used dozens of Papertrey Ink stamps – especially the Tiny Treats – Valentine Stamp Set.
Each page had a cheerful Caterpillar – a familiar face which travels with the child page to page
And a star in each page – dreams do come true if you wish and work hard enough.
I am not showing all the pictures here – for obvious reasons :). But the pages are All About Me, Pages on likes and dislikes, Friends, Family, Home, School, Holidays & Trips, and a couple of pages on what the child wishes to be when he/she grows up. Please do contact me if you want to see the other pictures.
Thanks for stopping by :) And please do let me know how you liked these.
I’ll leave you with a picture of the last page – an About page of the scrapbook
Email me on hello@craftyjc.com or mail.craftyjc@gmail.com for more details or for placing an order.

Anniversary Scrapbook – with Sizzix and PTI
I’ve started work after my maternity leave and life is.. well.. life is quite interesting :) :) IYKWIM! :) :)
In the midst I got to do this scrapbook – an Anniversary one
This Papertrey ink stamp is one of my all time favourites – Little Bitty Bird
The first page has this super cute couple – makes for a nice back drop isn't it?
I’ve used the Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die – Ovals to make those accents to the Photo mats.
The journaling lines and hearts are also Papertrey Ink Stamps
The Baker’s twine opens to pop up a checklist of “i love u because”.
I don’t want to post pics of all the pages here :) and will leave you with this fun last page.
This is a set of tags in a small holder with some fun questions like “Was it love at first sight”.. “Your nicknames for each other”…etc. (Click pic for a bigger view)
Loved making this book :) And I think this satisfies the urge of stamping too :)
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like what you see :)

Summer Fun – A Scrapbook
I had fun with this scrapbook. Lot of fun :)
Someone wanted me to make her a scrapbook (thanks for the shout-out Juhi) for her little boy – to scrapbook his summer holidays.
And I used my Silhouette a great deal :)
The clouds backdrop and the Sun from Bird's Cards. Car stickers from itsybitsy. Tree, boys and house done up on Silhouette Studio, printed and cut
Paper from itsybitsy too. Label designed and print-cut from Silhouette SD
I cut all the photo panels using Silhouette SD again.. saved so much time.
The cover edges punched with an MS punch
And the cupcake is my trusted Silhouette again.
Did you notice all that stamping?? I loved using my stamps here.. satisfied the stamper in me :) ALL stamps from the brilliant Papertrey Ink .. soo worth the money… (the last page’s stamping was Fiskars.. you can notice the difference in style right? :))))
I did the photo panel layout first and then the embellishments fell in place easily
I used Fabriano papers.. expensive yes.. but the quality is awesome.. and it is Long Life.. Archival.. easy to stamp.. no bleeding.. so its the expensive Fabriano all the way for me. Use quality papers to make card making and scrapbooking easier and beautiful :)
Thanks for stopping by..
Cheers

The sentiment at the bottom is from Hero Arts (I think I need that inLinkz’ Manage Links!).
And all the die cuts are Sizzix.

Introducing K-Series
My little girl loves to colour.. when she is happy the colours are all rainbows and when she is in one those toddler-moods everything is coloured black! :)
So to encourage her and use her lovely colouring, I am introducing a series of cards with the focal element done up by her but, of course, assembled by me..
Here are a couple of cards
And a close up of the colouring.
She chose the colours all by herself.. and I used those colours for the background stamping.
And here is another one
Hopes this helps you to have some crafty fun with your children too..
What went in:
- Papertrey Ink – Itty Bitty Bird for the background curls
- Hero Arts Cup cake (thanks Tejal for letting me use it) and Sentiment
- And gorgeous Memento Dew Drop inks – I love them – they make stamping a breeze!!
Cheers,
Jaya
