Of Superheroes & Silhouettes

Hello and welcome back :)

Less Is More has a lovely recipe this time: Week 260:  SILHOUETTE

This Valentine's - my plan is to send out cards to friends - who have been a blessing to me and others, with a handwritten note.

Entering this to LIM #260: Silhouette.

What went in:
  • Papertrey : Superhero
  • Arhival black & Memento ink pads - (badly need new ones)

Tip of the dayTo get solid images to stamp well, I read this is awesome tip. Ink it first with a clear pigment inkpad-like the embosser inkpad and then right on top of that ink with the dye ink. Perfect images everytime :)

I so appreciate you stopping by :) Thank you & God bless.

Cheers

Double Whammy!!

Welcome back and thanks for stopping.. Today I have a shocking 2-cards - both for a few of CAS Challenges I love muchly.

I thought it was high time I stopped designing and stamping them in my mind - and transfer them to cards :)

My first card is so simple, my CAS soul weeps with pleasure. I stamped this Papertrey's Bubble Talk in red, and hand cut the heart bit out. A clear see-through heart

The inside will read - It is clear that we're meant to be

Entering this card to

  • CASology Week #18: Clear
  • ATS: Addicted to CAS: #80: Red

My next card was for One-Layer Simplicity challenge - which wasn't meant to be... hehe..

It's for my 6yo little girl, soon to be 7 in March - who's just started taking violin classes. She gets so disappointed. So I thought this will cheer her up.

This is from Lawn Fawn's Sunny Skies. I curved the sentiment "reach for the sky" along the string to reach up to the, ahem, sky. Grin.

Oops.. I just realized that the One-Layer Simplicity challenge has closed collections - I thought with me being in India, I can sort of slip it on.. My.. no do!! :)

Thanks for stopping by. I so appreciate you spending your precious time with me. God bless you.

Cheers
