The Yellow Trio

Here is my second take on CraftyJC Challenge :) I think the sketch is versatile enough to interpret the way you want. Here is a sample

DSC00057

Flowers and the butterfly are Cuttlebug die cuts.

DSC00062

Thanks Shalini and Rachana for the clear buttons on the flowers. I won the Crazy About ATC Candy sometime back

DSC00068

Layered the flowers. First time I’ve attempted tearing paper. Love it! no wonder my little girl does it soo often! :D. The butterfly has a little piece of twisted wire.

What went in

  • Die cuts – flowers and butterfly – Cuttlebug
  • Blue paper – a handmade paper shop across Agriculture college, Pune
  • Other papers – Venus traders
  • Butterfly’s Wire – Samrat, Lakshmi road

Thanks for looking and thanks for your lovely comments on yesterday’s post :)

Cheers,

Jaya

Christmas in August!

Heyall :) Hope you are doing well.

Here is my first take on CraftyJC Challenge – Sketch time. CJC-1-Sketch

I love Christmas and love making Christmas cards throughout the year!DSC00028 - Copy

So here it is – a Christmas card made in the midst of rains in Pune.

DSC00026 - Copy

What went it:

  • Grey card stock from Venus Traders, F.C Road, Pune
  • Patterned paper used for matting the die cuts – my freebie from here. I played around with a MS punch :)
  • Die cuts – Cuttlebug
  • Random ribbon. I figured tying the the ribbon upside down gives me a nicer bow
  • Sentiment Stamp from Stampabilities – gift from my friens Reeja

Thanks for stopping by and please do play along with CraftyJC Challenge’s first ever – Sketch time :)

Cheers,

Jaya
