A bunch of wishes!

I’ve been wanting to make a card for a very nice person at work.. as a gift. Here it is finally in reality! :)

Purple has been on my head for a while now. Coz I want to make some Mother’s Day cards using this colour! And I want to use that paper in the background for that :)
PS: In India, we celebrate Mother’s Day first Sunday of the month May.

The flower is a free digi-stamp called Snowdrop from papergardenprojects. Go to the Store & then to Digital supplies.

The small checks background paper is from the same set as from Birds Cards that I also used in this card.
Pencil coloured the stamp with a touch if glitter (Fevicryl 3D glitter – shimmer – this is a must have)
The sentiment is computer generated and is at the end of the post for your use :)
This card is an entry for these challenges – almost everyone wants a Spring card! :)

    Anita - I use Cuttlebug folder.. yes.. just the folder and not the Bug itself!!:) I'll post how to just use the folder..

Hello everybody. Today is my birthday. Thanks for wishing me :D Though I am a year older – not on the right side of older :D.. I want to thank the Lord for all the blessings in my life. I have a mini book to share with you. Was a lot of fun to make this one. There are thirteen pages inside – ideal for a mini Scrap for a year – especially for baby’s first year. One for the birth and one each for each month. It measures 4inx4in. Photos on the left and a white space on the left for journaling.   Outside has a couple of stickers and reads BLISSFUL :) Closes with a red ribbon. Rain or Shine!

When ICR has a Rain theme, I was looking around for some ideas and this is the stamp I landed on and fell in love with. Ujjwal recently sourced this for me. And I am glad I am able to use this in another ICR Challenge – the Challenge #10 . Here is the sketch grabbed from the ICR Challenge Pad I wanted to CASify this sketch – inspired by non other than Simplicity . And this is what I came up with. Isn’t the sentiment super sweet? :) How to: Stamp the image in black – Hero arts black ink. Image used is Ippity’s Rain or Shine Made two masks: one for the legs and also one mask to mimic grass Taped the masks down and stamped the grass repeatedly using Ippity A Bit of Burlap Stamped the sentiment which came with the image. Stamped the image’s umbrella on a piece of felt, cut it out, mounted it and popped a white pearl on it. Felt and pearl from itsybitsy . Pearl coloured black using a gel pen Pencil coloured the shirt and the skirt. Contemplated on making the card shorter...
