Just A Note
Heyall
Today's post which is after some 5 months (yes you read that right) - is a bit of crafting after that many months. I've been looking at your posts - my fellow Indian crafters and others ocross the oceans. What lovely inspiration! :)
Today's post is based on ICR's Challenge#8 - a layout with stitching. You wouldn't believe if I said I have layouts sketched for the last 3 challenges - which never got made! Life has been a little bit insane here (massive understatement here)
So, now back to the card and off my rambling.. A super simple card I've been ruminating in my head :)
A bit of Faux stitching.
What went in:
Are you like me?? I don't know why some of these high-end/fancy (read expensive) patterned papers are double sided!! What a waste! I am already super scared of cutting them up!
Tomorrow's post will (hopefully) show how (if I get aroung posting it) to use the negative of the punched flowers.
Thanks for stopping by :)
Cheers,
Jaya
PS: I wish I had a lot to say how I made this card :o)
PPS: Hero Arts Clear stamps are lovely. Ok - Hero Arts Clear Stamp "IS" lovely - this the only one I have :)
PPPS: What are you still reading?? I am feeling compelled to add more.
PPPPS: You Are The Best :) Thanks for popping by. :)

A bit of Faux stitching.
And here is the mandatory close up.
What went in:
- Flower punch from itsybity - for more uses for the same - punch, see here and here. This punch is very versatile and so easy to use.
- Buttons from itsybity too
- The flower paper is from CLOVER MEADOW, Country Drive by Echo park - courtesy Ujjwal's shop :).
- And the sentiment is a Hero Arts - Everyday Sayings.
