Say it with flowers!

Here is a quick card using a digi image from papercraftinspirationsmagazine (Flower from PIN64.templates1 & stem from PIN63.templates3) This site has very cool papers & digi-stamps. Do try this! :)

The flower & the stem are combined using GIMP. Coloured with markers – a lot left to be desired I guess :D .. lol..

Paper from Birds Cards that I seem to be using all over the place. I find the checks adding the right amount of pattern to the card & leaving the focus on the image or sentiment.

Tie the ribbon a a bow & secure the ends just behind the patterned papers  - save on ribbon & save on bulkiness.. also the inside the of the card remain tidy.

Sentiment is again computer generated - font Angelina. Please let me know if you’d like me to post that.

When ICR has a Rain theme, I was looking around for some ideas and this is the stamp I landed on and fell in love with. Ujjwal recently sourced this for me. And I am glad I am able to use this in another ICR Challenge – the Challenge #10 . Here is the sketch grabbed from the ICR Challenge Pad I wanted to CASify this sketch – inspired by non other than Simplicity . And this is what I came up with. Isn’t the sentiment super sweet? :) How to: Stamp the image in black – Hero arts black ink. Image used is Ippity’s Rain or Shine Made two masks: one for the legs and also one mask to mimic grass Taped the masks down and stamped the grass repeatedly using Ippity A Bit of Burlap Stamped the sentiment which came with the image. Stamped the image’s umbrella on a piece of felt, cut it out, mounted it and popped a white pearl on it. Felt and pearl from itsybitsy . Mini book – A giveaway (Edited for a simpler giveaway)

Hello everybody. Today is my birthday. Thanks for wishing me :D Though I am a year older – not on the right side of older :D.. I want to thank the Lord for all the blessings in my life. My birthday gift this year is my new baby girl – Arpana Sarah – such a blessing indeed. I can’t ask for anything more – a great guy, two gorgeous daughters, a loving family, a great job and to top this a great hobby! Phew! Thank you Lord for this. Amen. I have a mini book to share with you. Was a lot of fun to make this one. There are thirteen pages inside – ideal for a mini Scrap for a year – especially for baby’s first year. One for the birth and one each for each month. It measures 4inx4in. Photos on the left and a white space on the left for journaling.   Outside has a couple of stickers and reads BLISSFUL :) Closes with a red ribbon.
