Summer Fun – A Scrapbook

Image
I had fun with this scrapbook. Lot of fun :) Someone wanted me to make her a scrapbook (thanks for the shout-out Juhi) for her little boy – to scrapbook his summer holidays. And I used my Silhouette a great deal :) The clouds backdrop and the Sun from Bird's Cards . Car stickers from itsybitsy . Tree, boys and house done up on Silhouette Studio, printed and cut Paper from itsybitsy too. Label designed and print-cut from Silhouette SD   I cut all the photo panels using Silhouette SD again.. saved so much time. The cover edges punched with an MS punch And the cupcake is my trusted Silhouette again. Did you notice all that stamping?? I loved using my stamps here.. satisfied the stamper in me :) ALL stamps from the brilliant Papertrey Ink .. soo worth the money… (the last page’s stamping was Fiskars.. you can notice the difference in style right? :)))) I did the photo panel layout first and then the embellishments fell in place easily I used Fabriano p...

To a Friend – with Sizzix

Image
I love playing with Sizzix products to see how I can use the to suit my style. Here is a CAS card.. not one layered though.. Isn’t this card meaningful? I plan to write this on this inside - “ just a phone call away ” :) This will look super cute with just the phone in Pink and a sentiment saying “Keep in touch” What say? The sentiment at the bottom is from Hero Arts (I think I need that inLinkz’ Manage Links!). And all the die cuts are Sizzix. And a pretty card is made :) K used those Early Learning Centre Easy Painters Colours from available in Shopper’s Stop Thanks for stopping by Cheers, Jaya

Hello everybody. Today is my birthday. Thanks for wishing me :D Though I am a year older – not on the right side of older :D.. I want to thank the Lord for all the blessings in my life. My birthday gift this year is my new baby girl – Arpana Sarah – such a blessing indeed. I can’t ask for anything more – a great guy, two gorgeous daughters, a loving family, a great job and to top this a great hobby! Phew! Thank you Lord for this. Amen. I have a mini book to share with you. Was a lot of fun to make this one. There are thirteen pages inside – ideal for a mini Scrap for a year – especially for baby’s first year. One for the birth and one each for each month. It measures 4inx4in. Photos on the left and a white space on the left for journaling.   Outside has a couple of stickers and reads BLISSFUL :) Closes with a red ribbon. The pages are hand bound using chipboard What went in Chipboard & Papers from itsybitsy Stickers for an old DP set The ...
