A bunch of wishes!

I’ve been wanting to make a card for a very nice person at work.. as a gift. Here it is finally in reality! :) Purple has been on my head for a while now. Coz I want to make some Mother’s Day cards using this colour! And I want to use that paper in the background for that :) PS: In India, we celebrate Mother’s Day first Sunday of the month May. The flower is a free digi-stamp called Snowdrop from papergardenprojects . Go to the Store & then to Digital supplies.   The small checks background paper is from the same set as from Birds Cards that I also used in this card . Pencil coloured the stamp with a touch if glitter (Fevicryl 3D glitter – shimmer – this is a must have) The sentiment is computer generated and is at the end of the post for your use :) This card is an entry for these challenges – almost everyone wants a Spring card! :) Card Patterns Sketch 56 Hump Day Inspiration #4 craftycalendarchallenge Challenge #6 caardvarks Lacy Days   Frosteddes...

Of Superheroes & Silhouettes

Image
Hello and welcome back :) Less Is More has a lovely recipe this time: Week 260:   SILHOUETTE  This Valentine's - my plan is to send out cards to friends - who have been a blessing to me and others, with a handwritten note. Entering this to LIM #260:  Silhouette . What went in: Papertrey : Superhero Arhival black & Memento ink pads - (badly need new ones)  Tip of the dayTo get solid images to stamp well, I read this is awesome tip. Ink it first with a clear pigment inkpad-like the embosser inkpad and then right on top of that ink with the dye ink. Perfect images everytime :) I so appreciate you stopping by :) Thank you & God bless. Cheers JC

sending you sunshine

Image
and some laughter too! :) I soo love this sentiment “ sending you sunshine and laughter ”. What a way to send some cheer to someone special :) Here are two such cards. The background is from PTI’s Make it Monday technique #58 Graduated Background – only that I used regular watercolour cakes. The flowers were hand cut – yes, it does show isn’t it :) ETA – The curve of the panel is soo totally inspired by Susan’s card here The centre of the flowers are left colourless but with those gorgeous Ranger stickles. This one uses the same hand water-coloured panel with Papertrey ink ’s Tag its #3   The sentiment is from Hero Arts Everyday Sayings and stamped in two rows Entering these to Less is More – Week 60 Take Three { Week 3 Spring, #40 Red n Orange, #43 Bling, #51: Cut it out} Sentimental Sundays – Spring St Luke’s charity card – Spring Lilypad wants flowers onestopcraftchallenge – CAS   That’s all girls :) Thanks for poppi...
